♫ Cassie feat. Akon - Let’s Get Crazy (full) - listen
My anticipation is building for Cassie’s album because of the new single, “Must Be Love,” featuring Diddy. But also because on Twitter, Diddy won’t stop talking about this amazing Bad Boy comeback! This new track from Cassie and Akon is produced by RedOne, who Akon has seriously put on with the production on Lady Gaga’s #1 hit, “Just Dance,” which also features his artist, Colby O’Donis. It sounds like exactly like something left over from Gaga’s album, The Fame.

♫ Keri Hilson feat. T-Pain & Lil’ Jon - Hey Girl (full) - listen
“Hey Girl” is a track taken from Keri Hilson’s In A Perfect World… sessions that didn’t make the album, but was rumored to be on the official tracklisting. Although the song is fun, I’m glad it didn’t make the final cut, because the content doesn’t really fit in with the rest of the material on Keri’s debut. However, it does fit in with the running trend of songs about drinking.

♫ Keri Hilson - Hurts Me (full) - listen
Another track for Keri’s In A Perfect World… sessions has leaked, titled “Hurts Me.” I really love the sound of this song, it really would have been a great addition to the album. If I’m not mistaken, Candice Nelson of The Clutch can be heard on background vocals and has co-writing credits on the track.

♫ Day26 - Get Away Girl (full) - listen
I’ve yet to be really wowed by anything that has leaked from these new Day26 efforts for their new album, Forever In A Day (love that album title - it reminds me of Prince’s Around the World In A Day). But I was intrigued by the simple, futuristic sound of the production (credits to Roy Hamilton) on this new track, “Get Away Girl.” I love the simplictiy of the hook too. Forever In A Day is set to hit shelves next month, April 14th.

♫ Keri Hilson - Quicksand (full) - listen
Check out this bonus track from Keri Hilson. It didn’t make the debut album, In A Perfect World…, which hit stores today. “Quicksand” was produced by Danjahandz, who Keri works with on the album and has co-production credits on her hit single, “Turnin’ Me On,” with Polow Da Don. This song could have very well fit on the album, but I can definitely see how it was left off.

♫ Mario - Live A Lie (full) - listen
Mario announced a minute ago that he was working on his fourth studio album, a follow-up to 2007’s Go! Mario’s first album is my favorite from his albums, but I actually like this direction for him. His voice sounds like it’s maturing, and he has also mentioned scaling down the producers he works with so that his album can have a more cohesive sound. Good for Mario.

♫ Keri Hilson feat. T-Pain & Lil’ Wayne - Turnin’ Me On (Remix) (full) - listen
This remix got taken completely out of hand. Rumors swarmed the internet of Keri “dissing” Beyonce, as well as Ciara and possibly Rihanna. But Keri insists that it wasn’t even meant like that, and that this wasn’t even supposed to be released. In any event, love it or hate it, it’s out and it’s garnered a lot of attention considering that Keri used a couple of lines from different songs. Her debut album, In A Perfect World… hits shelves and online March 24th.

♫ D. Woods - Legalize Me (full) - REMOVED
D. Woods recently released her mixtape, Independence Day: Volume 1, which contains all new material from her, as well as some of her favorite tunes and some new tracks from The Girls Club. “Legalize Me” and “On My Side” has been my favorite of the material to leak. I think it’s good to see D. putting out cool music that showcases her vocal ability, and I’m eager to hear the new material from the other mixtapes in her series!

♫ The Dream - Sweat It Out (full) - listen
I think that The Dream is absolutely hilarious. I mean, not in a bad way, it’s just that sometimes the way he approaches a song, or a concept, really makes me laugh. The title is pretty straight forward with “Sweat It Out.” The Dream boasts about how he will sweat his lover’s hair out while making love. He even tells the girl to call her beautician in the song. The Dream’s new album, Love vs. Money is set to hit shelves and online March 10th.

♫ Trey Songz - Brand New (full) - listen
This new cut, “Brand New” is supposedly the “street single” for his new album that he’s been working on in Atlanta for quite some time. I usually like Trey, but there’s something very R. Kelly-ish about his vocal and delivery on this song, especially on the verses. I can see his fans getting into this song, and it will probably hit hard and heavy in the clubs. I’m looking for something great from Songz this time around, considering that his last two albums got lots of spins from me.

♫ D. Woods - Just Friends (full) - listen
It seems as though more solo material has been leaking from our girl D. Woods. Early in the week, we posted her new song, “On My Side,” now we have the super-retro “Just Friends,” which also appeared on D.’s MySpace page. I’ve actually really been liking the songs that I’m hearing, and she seems to really be experimenting with a lot of different sounds that she didn’t get to dive into with Danity Kane. D. is planning on releasing a series of mixtapes with all new material, so we’ll be hearing more from her soon.

♫ Jamie Foxx feat. Jermaine Dupri & T-Pain - Blame It (SoSo Def Remix) (full) - listen
It seems as though Jermaine Dupri is trying to put his SoSo Def label imprint back on the map! He’s been jumping on every song that’s been getting heavy radio play. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not a bad idea if he’s planning on staying relevant. But I don’t think anyone is looking forward to an entire JD album, so perhaps he’s just trying to have a good time and make sure people know that he’s still breathing. Either way, the clubs have been eating this song up, so I’m sure the remix will fair well with fans.
