Alicia Keys feat. Cassidy – No One (Remix) (full) – listen
The more I heard the song, the more it grew on me. And now here’s a remix with Cassidy, who is ready to release a new album as well. This remix doesn’t differ too much from the original version of the song. I will say though, that I’m digging the new image Alicia went for this time around on the new album. She looks absolutely amazing in the new video. I am eager to hear some more material. There have been some live tracks floating around, but I always like to hear what Allcia’s music sounds like from the studio.
Cassie – In Love With the DJ (full) – listen
I posted a snippet of this song a couple of weeks ago, and I actually was kind of feeling it. Although I was expecting a little more from the full version, I still think it’s a cute song. I think what I like most about this song is the lyrics, more so in the verse than the chorus. Like on most of Cassie’s songs, she pretty much sings the same note the whole way through. The last few songs that I’ve posted from Cassie are to appear on her new album, due out sometime soon, tentatively titled The Return.

J. Records recording artist Mario is back with his third studio album, Go! and it’s been a long time coming. Even though fans have waited for the album to drop since material started leaking, Mario has managed to give us a solid album this time around, collaborating with several different heavy-weight producers and songwriters. Go! delivers collaborations with The Neptunes (on the album’s title track), Timbaland, The Clutch, Mad Scientist and Polow Da Don (on the second single “Crying Out For Me”), just to name a few. Seems like this project’s budget was pretty endless with all the credits that I’ve seen.

Jay-Z – Roc Boys (And the Winner Is) (full) – listen
Interesting, very interesting. I’m feeling this. At first, even though I was excited, I was very skeptical about what Jay-Z was going to be doing on American Gangster. But he spits with such confidence, it just makes me believe in everything that he’s going to do, almost as if he can do no wrong. I’m digging the song, though, the production is sick. I love the sample of Kanye’s voice for the chorus, and the horns just add a flare to the song. I’m eager to hear some more material from American Gangster, due out November 6th.
Cherish feat. Yung Joc – Killa (full) – listen
This is supposedly the first single from Cherish’s new album. “Keep It Fresh” was apparently a teaser single. The girls have been in the studio again, recording more material since those couple new songs have leaked, and they say the album will be out in February. In all honesty, I like the production on this song, but it just seems to stay in the same place the whole time. The song doesn’t gain intensity at all. Not only that, it doesn’t sound too much different from anything that was on their first album, Unappreciated. I don’t know how I’m digging Cherish this time around. We’ll see.

The Dreamer – Screamin’ On the Dancefloor
An Atlanta native, The Dreamer is on the forefront and cutting edge of today’s hip hop music. He has shared stages with the likes of Lupe Fiasco, and worked with some classic Atlanta musical icons. With the snap music crazy slowly dying down, Dreamer is sneaking up and grabbing the industry by the neck with his edgy sound and flavor. That’s not to say that it’s completely different from anything that anyone else has done, but Dreamer has managed to take sounds of the past, put his own spin on them and make them all his own.
On his LP, Perishable Fame Presents The Dreamer, Dreamer draws inspirations from everyone from OutKast and Goodie Mob, to old school 90′s Kilo. It’s a good mix of funky, high-energy electronica-influenced music to just kick-back Caddy-riding.
