Back in 2008, former 112 bandmate Slim found great success with his track, “So Fly,” but he’s back now with a brand new mixtape, Cruisin’ Da City, Vol. 1, in preparation for his sophomore solo album, Cruise Control.
The 16-track mixtape is hosted by DJ Lyte and DJ Lucky Calhoun and features new and remixed material from Slim while he gears up to release his new project. The mixtape also contains a snippet of his brand new first single, which hasn’t been released in full yet.
Towards the end of the year in 2011, 1/3 of Dirty Money, Kalenna Harper took her solo spotlight with a new track and viral video entitled, “Go To Work” (CLICK HERE), and she’s back with more hard-hitting material on “Black Matte Truck.”
The new track will be featured on Kalenna’s first digital album, Chamber of Diaries, with features from Wayne Wonder, Crystal Nicole, Maino, Rodney Jerkins, French Montana and more. You can expect to hear more from Kalenna with the release this February.
Known for crossing between the genres of pop and R&B, Chris Brown gives us his latest single offering, “Turn Up the Music,” from his forthcoming fifth studio album, Fortune.
The track, produced by The Undersogs & Fuego, serves as the first official single to the album, following up the buzz single, “Strip,” featuring Kevin McCall. Fortune is slated to hit stores March 16th.
John Legend is back with a brand new track, “Tonight (Best You Ever Had),” from the motion picture soundtrack Think Like A Man. The track features rapper/actor Ludacris and produced by Phatboi Productions.
