Originally reported as being a new single, it’s been confirmed that the newly leaked track, “The Truth (Set Free)” is unreleased material from Aftermath signee, Truth Hurts. The Beanie Siegel-assisted, Dr. Dre-produced song was originally supposed to appear on the singer’s debut album, 2002′s Truthfully Speaking, but didn’t make the final cut.
Apparently, though, Truth is still working on music and acting. It’s been quite some time that we’ve heard anything recent from her.
Kanye West premieres the visual treatment for “Lost in the World”, taken from 2010′s My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. The black-and-white music video was shot last summer and directed by filmmaker Ruth Hogben, who told MTV News “fans are supposed to come up with their individual interpretations”. David Banner joins forces with Chris Brown again for his brand new single, “Amazing,”
On May 22nd, Banner plans to release his free digital album, Sex, Drugs and Video Games. In exchange for the album, he’s asking for two million fans and supporters to donate a minimum of $1, for which he plans consistently deliver music, videos, movies and donations to positively influence urban culture.
