With an album just a couple of weeks away for release, no one can stay shy of leaks. Check out the latest material from Lloyd’s fourth studio album, King of Hearts, titled “Naked.” The track was produced by none other than Dr. Dre. King of Hearts is slated to hit stores July 5th.
Mario – Bermuda (full) – listen
R&B crooner Mario has been laying low since the release of his last album, D.N.A. back in 2009, but insisted that his next project would be a cohesive batch of material, crafted by a few producers with whom he’s had great chemistry with over the years. No official word on when the album will drop, but here’s a bit of material, “Bermuda,” that maybe from those sessions.
Joe – Almost There (full) – listen
Joe is currently at work on his ninth studio album, The Good, The Bad, The Sexy, which is slated to hit stores August 16th. It hasn’t been confirmed whether or not the new track, “Almost There” will appear on the album, but it’s nice to get a gauge on new material.
Olivia feat. Sean Kingston – Boomerang (full) – listen
Singer-turned-reality star Olivia is busy at work on her sophomore album, Show the World, while filming the VH1 series Love & Hip Hop. Check out the official debut single from the album, “Boomerang,” featuring Sean Kingston.
Former Danity Kane starlet and one-third of the group Dirty Money, Dawn Richard has been taking to her Twitter to release new music. Check out the new track, “Stuck On Mad.”
Dawn has announced that her major solo debut will be release in a trilogy. The first installment of the trilogy, GoldenHeart, is slated to be released some time this year, with BlackHeart and RedemptionHeart to follow. This seems a little ambitious, considering that it will be her first time out as a solo artist.
Lil’ Mama and Snoop Dogg bridge the east and west coast gap on her brand new single, “NY NY LA LA.”
Since making her red carpet splash at this year’s MTV Movie Awards, Mama announced that she was working on new music. The 22-year-old New York native hasn’t done much in the way of music since her 2008 debut, Voice of the Young People, but has remained visible on MTV’s hit show, America’s Best Dance Crew.
Lil’ Mama hopes to release her sophomore album, Voice of the Young People: I AM THAT later this year.
