So, Jill Scott and her label must not have liked the response that they got from her latest single, “Shame,” because even though they’ve already shot a video for the Eve-featured track, Jill has decided to switch her first official single to the Anthony Hamilton-assisted track, “So In Love.” The new track will lead off her forthcoming new album, Light of the Sun. The new album is slated to hit stores some time this summer.
From music to reality TV, Olivia is definitely a lady on her grind. The VH1 Love & Hip Hop cast member recently dropped a new power-ballad single entitled “December” from her upcoming studio album, Show The World. The Awwe Yeahz-produced track, is the follow-up to the infectious first club single, “Lick Salt Shot Lime” from the songstress’ free Love & Hip Hop EP. Jeezy teams up with Lil’ Wayne for his new “street single,” “Ballin’.” It’s taken Jeezy a little while to get a single that sticks for his upcoming fourth studio album, Thug Motivation 103, which he has been working on since 2009.
The track is produced by Lody Lucci and apparently is not an official single, just something for Jeezy to show his fans that he’s hard at work. No release date yet for the album, though. Jeezy plans to drop another single this summer.
Soul singer Musiq Soulchild drops his new single, “Yes,” produced by ELEMENT. The track was lifted from Musiq’s upcoming sixth studio album, MusiqInTheMagiq, which is slated to hit stores May 3rd.
