Pop starlet and former Danity Kane member Aubrey O’Day gives Concrete Loop an exclusive listen to the official version of her Adonis-produced debut single, “Automatic.” Aubrey’s season finale of her Oxygen reality TV show, All About Aubrey aired tonight with her showcasing to labels, along with the release of the new single to iTunes.
O’Day recently inked a deal with SRC/Universal Motown Records to release her debut album, which is slated to drop some time this summer. As seen on her reality show, Aubrey has gone through a journey of ups and downs putting together her solo record after Danity Kane. Although there’s no solid release date, she’s more than ready.
Famed songwriter Ester Dean, who has been responsible for some of the biggest hits over the past couple of years, offers up her first solo offering since the hit, “Drop It Low.” Check out the new Stargate-produced track, “Take You To Rio,” lifted from the original motion picture soundtrack for the animated film, Rio.
Ester claims that she is working on a debut solo project, however, the material she’s recording for herself, she isn’t opposed to selling to any artist who’s willing to buy.
It’s true. According to reports, Young Money rapper and facial expression extraordinaire Nicki Minaj is teaming up with Britney Spears in the pop singer’s upcoming North American summer tour. Mya Releases New Album Artwork
Singer/dancer Mya dropped the official album cover for her forthcoming studio album entitled K.I.S.S. (Keep It Sexy & Simple) This R&B/Soul/J-Pop/Dance compilation will be her sixth studio album, but her second studio album to be released in Japan. The project includes 13 songs with features by singer Marques Houston and producers Chuck Harmony and Young Yonny. Mya’s album will be hitting stores on April 20, 2011.
Pop starlets Rihanna and Britney Spears join forces for the official remix of Rihanna’s most recent single, “S&M.” Not too much different from the original of the Stargate production, aside from Britney giving us a little something different on the second verse and joining Rihanna on the bridge.
Britney Spears recently released her latest LP, Femme Fatale, while Rihanna’s Loud has been in stores. Both artists are embarking on tours this summer and it’s rumored that for overseas legs, they will appear on stage together.
