Nicole Scherzinger - Steam (full) - download
So if the name isn’t familiar to you, just know that Nicole Scherzinger is the name of the lead singer from the popular sextet, The Pussycat Dolls! Apparently, Nicole’s pulling a Beyonce - still in the group, still recording with them and on tour, but spreading her wings and doing the solo thing, which is great, consider that she’s got a great voice and loads of stage presence and charisma. Bryan Michael Cox definitely put it down on this digitally-sexed track. Check it out, it’s a good party song.
Joe feat. Papoose - Where You At (full) - download
I think I said this in a previous post, but Joe is coming for you guys’s throats with this next album. His vocals are that fire and the production kind of reminds me something sophisticated and southern. Although I dig “Go Hard” as a first single a lot more than this, I can’t sleep on this song. I’m digging Joe’s transformation from just regular R&B crooner to Mr. Grown & Sexy. I feel like he’s really setting himself apart from these other male R&B artists. But the rapper is wack to me.

3LW feat. Jermaine Dupri - Feelin’ You (full) - download
Your favorite three little women are re-imerging. Another song that just isn’t all that bad, but isn’t all that great either. Jermaine has really been doing his thing though. The production sort of reminds me of “Like You,” Bow Wow & Ciara’s “Bonnie & Clyde ‘03″ of last year. Let’s hope that this time around, with a new member, the girls will be able to push out a new album. After all, ‘06 is supposedly the year of the girl group that doesn’t have Beyonce in it.
Brandy - Deepest Thoughts (full) - download
Rumors circulated that this Mike City-produced track is old and won’t be on the new album that’s rumored to be mostly produced by The Neptunes? I’m not really sure how I feel about this song, regardless of what sessions it comes from. It seems really long and boring to me. I just felt like I wasn’t sure where it was going to end, and I was waiting for it to. What I will say, though, is that Brandy’s voice sounds pretty nice.

- Atlanta rap duo Field Mob, recently signed to Ludacris’ Disturbing the Peace/Geffen imprint, has set June 20 as the release date for its third album “Light Poles and Pine Trees.” The first single, “So What” featuring Ciara, was produced by Jazze Pha. “Light Poles” is the follow-up to Field Mob’s 2003 disc, “From Tha Roota To Tha Toota,” which peaked at No. 33 on The Billboard 200 in the United States.
- The Ying Yang Twins are currently planning their third studio effort “2 Live Crew,” due later this year. According to member D-Roc, the album title is an ode to the raunchy 1990s rap group of the same name. “2 Live Crew” will be the follow-up to Ying Yang Twins’ 2005 set “U.S.A.: United State of Atlanta,” which bowed at No. 2 on The Billboard 200 and has sold 932,000 copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan.

Monica feat. Dem Franchize Boys - Everytime the Beat Drop (full) - download
Look’s like Monica’s taking the crunk A-Town approach to her new material. And why not? It seems to be working for most other female artist these days. Honestly, I think the whole A-Town repping this is tired… but who knows, maybe people will take to this like they did to Cherish’s “Do It To It.” I don’t know, I was just expecting to hear something new and innovative with Monica, like how she came with “So Gone” and “Knock Knock” from her last studio album, “After the Storm.”
Kelly Rowland feat. Yung Texxus - Still In Love With My Ex (DJ version) - download
A snippet of this song leaked, and then a looped version with a different track behind it, without the rapper. I’m actually digging the song, but I’m not sure how I feel about this remix. Kelly’s voice sounds really nice, but I definitely don’t think this is single-worthy. I actually understand why the push-back is happening, I’m not sure how people are going to react to this track. And by the way, who is Yung Texxus?

“André ‘3000′ Benjamin (better known as Dré) arrives early, alone, and camera-ready for an OutKast photo shoot at an Atlanta studio on a Sunday afternoon in late April. Nearly an hour later, his rhyme partner, Antwan ”Big Boi” Patton, shows up with three assistants, a rack of clothes, a couple of Louis Vuitton suitcases, and shopping bags from Ralph Lauren and Bloomingdale’s. Soon, they effortlessly turn on their famous megawatt charm for the camera — laughing, nodding, and bopping along to the new Gnarls Barkley album. But when the photographer snaps the final frame, Dré swiftly bids adieu to Big Boi and takes off in his black 2006 Range Rover.
These days, it seems like Dré, 30, and Big Boi, 31, are rarely in the same room. As they ready the long-awaited follow-up to their enormously successful last album, 2003’s Speakerboxxx/The Love Below, their relationship is growing increasingly strained — to the extent that it’s threatening to break OutKast apart. With their new CD, Idlewild (which doubles as the soundtrack to their upcoming Prohibition-era movie musical of the same name), due in stores Aug. 22, can the duo maintain their unusually fruitful collaboration? Or are OutKast on their way out?” [SOURCE]
Seriously, check out the rest of this article on Entertainment Weekly. Click the source link to read more. I really hope they can work out whatever differences they’re going through. Even though I’d love to hear more solo materials from them, it would be nice to get some more OutKast music…

Toni Braxton will follow in the footsteps of Celine Dion and Elton John in staging a resident show in Las Vegas. “Toni Braxton: Revealed” will open Aug. 3 at Harrah’s Entertainment’s Flamingo resort and will run six days each week.
Described as “a sexy, entertaining and intimate evening,” the show will no doubt tap Braxton’s Broadway experience in the musicals “Beauty & the Beast” and “Aida.” She will be supported by a live band, backing singers and a cast of dancers.
“There is nothing like the thrill of performing nightly to a live audience with fans that have supported me throughout my career,” Braxton says in a statement. “I’m looking forward to developing the show for the Flamingo, settling into Las Vegas with my family and bringing ‘Revealed’ to a whole new crowd.” [SOURCE]

Cassie feat. Ryan Leslie - Long Way to Go (radio rip) - download
This is the song that Cassie performed at her first US show, before “Me & You.” The beat is sick and the song itself sort of reminds me of “Promiscuous” by Nelly Furtado & Timbaland, mainly because of the low-key call and response between Cassie and Ryan and because of the song’s content. I hope this isn’t rumored to be the next single, because I’m sure Cassie’s got some other heat besides this. For some reason, though I knew this would be the next song to leak.
Nelly Furtado - Undercover (full) - download
I really am digging all the songs I’ve heard so far from Nelly Furtado’s “Loose” sessions. I’m not sure whether or not this is making the album, but I definitely like this. It’s a nice pop song. The voice sort of sounds like Gwen Stefani, but at the same time, Nelly’s managed to keep her swagger and add her on twist to the vocals, regardless of how different this is from her previous albums. Check it out!
