Two female singers, both with huge fan bases seemed to have recorded the same song, which has caused a slightly heated debate online on whether or not one is better than the other.
Beyonce’s version of the track, “Slow Love,” produced by Stargate, leaked a couple of weeks ago, and shortly after, a version with Brandy’s vocals surfaced.
In my opinion, the song isn’t all that great enough for this to even be an issue. The song seems a little hollow, and unfinished, hence why both ladies left it off of their albums, I Am… Sasha Fierce and Human, which are both out in stores.

It’s not secret that Keri Hilson first made a new for herself in the music industry as a songwriter, so it’s no surprise that her demo version of Mary J. Blige’s new track, “Stronger” has leaked.
The Polow Da Don-produced track is to appear on Mary J.’s forthcoming project, which is shaping up to sound pretty good. “Stronger” is definitely a nice song.

Christina Milian has been on the promo trail, trying to get out her new album, Elope while Teairra Mari has been doing just the same for her upcoming sophomore effort, At That Point. Of the latest material to leak on Teairra’s side is the Madd Scientist-produced, Kanye West-assisted, “Diamonds,” which we mentioned sound a lot like Ciara’s “Click Flash,” from the Sex & the City motion picture soundtrack.
Just days later, Christina Milian’s version leaked. Apparently, she recorded the track first and before she signed with The Dream’s Radio Killa Records. It was supposed to appear on her album, before the switch. So now you know CL has to ask you that age old question…

It seems as though the track “Hey Girl,” which was originally intended for Keri Hilson’s debut album, In A Perfect World…, which hits stores last week, has been sold to a new girl group called Paradiso Girls. Now, by looking at the picture and hearing their vocals, you are probably saying that these girls remind you of the Pussycat Dolls. Well, there’s a reason for that. PCD creater Robin Antin is responsible is for this new girl group.
In any event, “Patron Tequila” is the girls’ first single, but it seems like there was a weird time difference between this making the Keri album and this track being the girls’ first single. So you know we’ve gotta ask you… who sang it better?

Looks as though Ciara has tried to take a stab at Beyonce’s second single, “Diva,” from her third studio album, I Am… Sasha Fierce, which is currently in stores. At first, I couldn’t get through Ciara’s version of the song, but then I just had to take a full listen. The track is produced by Bangladesh, who has worked with Ciara before (on her first album, Goodies, with the track “Hotline”) and is very similar to Lil’ Wayne’s “A Milli,” from his latest album, The Carter III.

Looks like Ciara and Mary J. Blige have recorded the same song. But it looks like it’s to appear on Ciara’s new album, Fantasy Ride rather than any new Mary J. project. A couple of days ago, it was reported that Ciara just shot a video for “Supernatural.” However, I think a couple of days later, Mary J.’s version surfaced. Ciara’s new album is a three-disc set based around cities. Apparently, “Supernatural” will appear on the “Groove City” portion of Ciara’s new project.
Although we all know who is the better vocalist out of the two, who do you think road the song better? By the way, anyone hear Ne-Yo on the backgrounds of Mary J. Blige’s version?

In a recent new music review, we broke a new song from Brooke Valentine, with production that we’ve already heard from both Le’Che Martin, who you may remember from Making the Band 3 (when Diddy was forming Danity Kane), as well as new Def Jam signee, Amerie.
Although, I must admit, I was initially drawn most to Le’Che Martin’s version, I actually grew to like Amerie’s, “Hate 2 Love U,” which was featured on her last album, Because I Love It…. So, since this beat seems to have past around the industry, what do you guys think?
WHOSE VERSION ARE YOU DIGGING MORE?

- LE’CHE MARTIN (15%, 282 Votes)
