Singer/rapper/socialite Teyana Taylor released some photos of her modeling her new Lip Gloss line, “Dope Lips” early Thursday morning via twitter.
No word on the actual line because the about me page on the official website isn’t even up, but word is she will drop flavors in 2010 and you can even take a peek of some of them on the site.

She recently sat down for an interview with Digital Spy and spoke about her music, mohawk and the ‘Lady Gaga’ comparisons.
On the comparisons to Lady GaGa:
“I don’t really look like her, but I think people compare us because we’re both on the edge and we both like to be a bit freaky. We’re both a bit controversial and make people say, ‘What is she doing?’ I think it’s a compliment to be compared to her because she’s very good at what she does and she’s a writer too. Maybe we can work together one day? I’d love that.”On her album sound/release date:
“Very uptempo, very electronic and very exciting. The way I sing is quite urban, but the beats are going to be club beats and there will definitely be elements of rock too. I want to release it this year! I really want to release it this year, but they’re telling me it’s going to be the beginning of 2010 and there’s going to be another single first.”On her Mohawk:
“I’ve had it like this for three months. I saw this style in Tokyo a couple of years ago and thought ‘Nobody wears a Mohawk these days, so why don’t I try it?’ I comb it and make it flat before I go to sleep unless I’m feeling tired and lazy. And I have these hats that I can pull over it, but people are like ‘Why’s she wearing this massive hat?’ When I go to the gym people look at me like I’m some kind of conehead!”

In related news, Fantasia will reprise the role of Celie in the national tour of The Color Purple during its Washington D.C., Chicago, Atlanta, and Los Angeles stops. Not to mention, she is playing Celie in the movie adaptation of the play. Fantasia also has a reality series set to premiere on VH1 in early 2010.
Above is the teaser poster for the new Disney cartoon, THE PRINCESS AND THE FROG. This movie marks the debut of the first African American Princess (Princess Tiana). The movie is due out around Christmas time.

Earlier this week, Ray J filmed the video for his new song, “Sexy Ladies” (featuring Shorty Mack & Truth) at a private residence in California.
