Drizzy Drake celebrated his 25th birthday with Martini Moscato d’Asti at the Tao Nightclub this past weekend in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Canadian rapper rocked a new hair cut, with a funky blue Versace shirt, black shoes & slacks, topped off with a gold chain.
While celebrating on a Private Jet Sunday night, he tweeted:
Apparently he bought 200 shots (on him) and gave them out to those partying with him on Saturday night. So umm yeah…
With their second season just around the corner, four of the Braxton sisters (Towanda, Trina, Tamar and Traci) along side their mother Evelyn, stopped by Spelman College’s Homecoming and held a private screening of their first episode of Braxton Family Values.
In front of 300 Spelman students, the sisters took part in a little Q&A session and wrapped up the event with an a capella performance of one of their songs. Toni was unable to attend due to her health & filming work in Los Angeles. Later that night, the ladies met up with a small group of media representatives (i.e. CNN, Associated Press, StraightfromtheA, the Atlantic Journal-Constitution) for another screening and private dinner at Atlanta’s Frank Ski’s Restaurant & Lounge.

Singer/actress Naturi Naughton visited Fuse Studios in New York City Saturday afternoon (October 15) in New York City. The 27-year-old singer rocked fall look, accented with a furred top and ankle-high black boots.
In related news, the new ABC series The Playboy Club, which co-starred Naturi was recently canceled after just 3 episodes.

So you know it can be limiting when there aren’t enough things written for you in major movies and major television, so it’s such an accomplishment and a big deal when we as women and also being brown skinned women, gets the opportunity to portray some of the roles when they’re aren’t so many for us.
