So many blogs are lighting up today because it has been “confirmed” that Jay-Z and Beyonce were indeed married on April 4th in a private ceremony. My inbox is flooded with links from people.com saying they filed their marriage license recently. Um, I thought we all knew they were married already?
Did the shout out from Mary J. Blige not confirm it? Or what about what Russell Simmons said in a recent interview? Maybe the fact that all those inside sources knew what color everyone was supposed to wear before the guests even knew themselves.
So blah! I just wanted an excuse to post these old candids of the couple vacationing in Portofino, Italy last year. They look cute. And as I said a couple weeks ago, congrats to them. I see why you didn’t want everyone all up in your business.

Okay, most of you know how I do. I usually don’t mention these crazy-ass web rumors anymore, especially when it’s concerning one of my favorite celeb couples to post about, Kanye & Alexis! But since we’ve been getting emails out the ass asking about what’s going on, I decided to post this up.
Jawn Murray of AOL Black Voices is claiming that the couple called it quits recently and the engagement is off. Say it ain’t so!
Sources close to the hip-hop star tell me that it was West who ended the engagement after revealing to Phifer: “I just don’t think it is going to work out anymore.” The 30-year-old entertainer even asked for his ring back!
The often-controversial rapper/producer got engaged to Phifer while overseas in the fall of 2006. The two met when Phifer worked as the assistant to West’s fulltime wardrobe stylist. [ READ MORE ]

Star magazine is claiming that Alicia Keys and her rumored boyfriend Kerry “Krucial” Brothers have made plans to tie the knot on July 4th in New York.
The tabloid says execs at the Oheka Castle – a 32-bedroom French-style chateau on Long Island – have confirmed that a wedding will take place during the July 4th weekend, but have refused to reveal the identity of the bride and groom.
Keys and Brothers have long been rumored to be a couple, but neither has spoken in public about their relationship. The songwriting partners are co-owners of the production company KrucialKeys and New York’s Oven Recording Studios.

Various reports have confirmed that Shawn “Jay-Z” Carter and Beyonce Knowles did in fact get married on Friday, April 4th after 6 years of dating. The private ceremony went down at an undisclosed location in NYC and was followed by a reception at Jay’s Tribeca apartment complex.
Rumored Celebrity Guest included: Solange, Kelly and Michelle (of course), Kanye West, Gwenyth Paltrow and hubby Chris Martin and more. (Make sure to check some of the celebrity arrivals after the cut).
As many of you know, Jay & Bee hold the number 4 very close to their hearts. Remember that post we made about the tats they got late last year with the number 4 on their ring fingers? FYI: Jay-Z was born on December 4th, Beyonce was born on September 4th and they got married on April 4th 2008. Check out Miss Iinfo’s blog for more on that theory.

Initially, I thought the whole Beyonce & Jay-Z wedding thing was another bogus rumor, but it looks like the star couple is actually going to tie the knot for real, for real.
Earlier this week, the couple took out a marriage license in Scarsdale, N.Y. and according to a People.com witness they were all smiles. I just received an email from The E-Biz and they claim to have info on the event, which is rumored to be taking place today (April 4th)..

Rihanna and rumored boyfriend Chris Brown try their best not to be photographed together as they spend a Sunday afternoon at the Grove shopping center in Los Angeles.
The “couple” shopped at the Apple store but entered and exited the store minutes apart and then while waiting for a movie to start, Chris chilled on a bench (with his hoodie up) while Rihanna and her best friend headed off to get something to eat.
In related news, Chris told AP News over the weekend that they are just friends.

According to Star Magazine, singer Michelle Williams, 27, is dating actor Henry Simmons. Michelle has been starring in the L.A. production of the musical The Color Purple, and a source says Simmons, 37, has been a constant visitor to the theater in recent weeks.
“They’re so cute, always hugging and cuddling,” says the source. “They just look so happy together.”

After quietly dating for months, a Star Magazine source says Nia Long, 37, is finally ready to let the world know she’s with actor Kevin Phillips - who’s 13 years her junior.
“She was trying to keep it a secret,” says a source. “But people were starting to figure it out. Her friends tell her she has nothing to be ashamed of and that she needs to live her life to the fullest.”
