Okay, most of you know how I do. I usually don’t mention these crazy-ass web rumors anymore, especially when it’s concerning one of my favorite celeb couples to post about, Kanye & Alexis! But since we’ve been getting emails out the ass asking about what’s going on, I decided to post this up.
Jawn Murray of AOL Black Voices is claiming that the couple called it quits recently and the engagement is off. Say it ain’t so!
Sources close to the hip-hop star tell me that it was West who ended the engagement after revealing to Phifer: “I just don’t think it is going to work out anymore.” The 30-year-old entertainer even asked for his ring back!
The often-controversial rapper/producer got engaged to Phifer while overseas in the fall of 2006. The two met when Phifer worked as the assistant to West’s fulltime wardrobe stylist. [ READ MORE ]

Star magazine is claiming that Alicia Keys and her rumored boyfriend Kerry “Krucial” Brothers have made plans to tie the knot on July 4th in New York.
The tabloid says execs at the Oheka Castle – a 32-bedroom French-style chateau on Long Island – have confirmed that a wedding will take place during the July 4th weekend, but have refused to reveal the identity of the bride and groom.
Keys and Brothers have long been rumored to be a couple, but neither has spoken in public about their relationship. The songwriting partners are co-owners of the production company KrucialKeys and New York’s Oven Recording Studios.

Various reports have confirmed that Shawn “Jay-Z” Carter and Beyonce Knowles did in fact get married on Friday, April 4th after 6 years of dating. The private ceremony went down at an undisclosed location in NYC and was followed by a reception at Jay’s Tribeca apartment complex.
Rumored Celebrity Guest included: Solange, Kelly and Michelle (of course), Kanye West, Gwenyth Paltrow and hubby Chris Martin and more. (Make sure to check some of the celebrity arrivals after the cut).
As many of you know, Jay & Bee hold the number 4 very close to their hearts. Remember that post we made about the tats they got late last year with the number 4 on their ring fingers? FYI: Jay-Z was born on December 4th, Beyonce was born on September 4th and they got married on April 4th 2008. Check out Miss Iinfo’s blog for more on that theory.

Initially, I thought the whole Beyonce & Jay-Z wedding thing was another bogus rumor, but it looks like the star couple is actually going to tie the knot for real, for real.
Earlier this week, the couple took out a marriage license in Scarsdale, N.Y. and according to a People.com witness they were all smiles. I just received an email from The E-Biz and they claim to have info on the event, which is rumored to be taking place today (April 4th)..
