It looks like Brandy is next up on the VH1 mini-documentary series, ‘Behind the Music’. The new episode travels back in time and highlights the singer’s career in music, television and film. Brandy also opens up about the passing of her friend/mentor, Whitney Houston and talks about the backlash from her involvement in a fatal car crash back in 2007. If you’re a fan of the show like us, you’ve been waiting a while for the new season of VH1′s ‘Single Ladies’ and now — Keisha ( LisaRaye McCoy), Raquel ( Denise Vasi) and April ( Charity Shea) are back for the 2nd season of the Queen Latifah-produced television series. A colorful, new promo pic dropped this week and features the saucy updated cast. Denise Vasi will be playing Keisha’s friend, a sophisticated business woman coming into her own and calling the shots (as you all know, Stacy Dash decided to leave the show last year)..

Funny man Cedric the Entertainer returns to television this summer, reprising his role as R&B singer-turned-preacher Boyce “The Voice” Ballentine from TV Land’s No. 1 show, Hot in Cleveland, in his own new spinoff series The Soul Man.

Every human being has their vulnerable moments and DMX definitely had a sad one on national TV. Over the last few weeks, he and his former wife, Tashera have been taking part in the VH1 reality show, ‘Couples Therapy,’ in hopes of getting past the pain/difficulty of their estranged marriage.
On this week’s episode, DMX opened up about his abusive childhood and talked about how he never had a positive relationship with his mother. As he talked about how he longed to call his mother ‘mommy,’ a wave of tears fell from the rapper’s eyes. After he cried, he said something so true:
“You know what? I think a lot people lose sight of the fact that no matter how strong you are as a man, no matter how tough you are, we all need to be somebody’s baby.”
