KANYE WEST IN “FAMILY GUY” SPINOFF
Kanye West has just finished recording a guest spot for the upcoming Family Guy spin-off, The Cleveland Show.
The show follows everyone’s favorite soft-spoken neighbor, Cleveland Brown, to his hometown in Virginia, as he settles down with his high school sweetheart, Donna (voiced by Sanaa Lathan), her unruly kids and his 14 year-old son, Cleveland Jr. (voiced by Kevin Michael Richardson).
“It was surprising to us that [he] was so into it that he came to the table [read], and wonderfully surprising how cool he was, how funny he was and how unassuming he was,” gushed Mike Henry, the animated show’s executive producer and voice of Cleveland Brown, to People.com.
West portrays rapper Kenny West alongside Oscar-nominated fellow guest-star Taraji P. Henson. The show is set to premiere on Fox in the fall.
Kanye West will soon be jetting back to LA this week for a performance on American Idol on Wednesday:
