MUSIC VIDEO: BIG K.R.I.T. – “THE VENT”

Mississippi rapper Big K.R.I.T. releases the accompanying visuals to “The Vent”, from his self-produced mixtape Return of 4eva, which was released earlier this year.

The 25-year-old is gearing up for the forthcoming release of his debut studio album, Live from the Underground, slated to hit stores September 27.

NEWS/VIDEO: WHAT HAPPENED TO MITRICE RICHARDSON?

It was August 9, 2010, that the remains of 24-year-old Mitrice Richardson were found in a remote area of Malibu Canyon. The recent college graduate had been released from custody on September 17, 2009, by the Agoura Hills Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Office after she was booked for not paying a restaurant bill.

Her disappearance sparked a number of questions for the sheriff’s department who handled her case, but the discovery of her body raised even more.

In the September issue of LA Magazine (available on newsstands now), Mike Kessler investigates what happened to Mitrice Richardson. Check out a video of Kessler walking through the details above.

In related news, it was reported that the parents of Mitrice Richardson will receive $900,000 if a settlement is reached in the wrongful death suit against the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, according to the Los Angeles Times (LINK).
