R. Kelly hits the club in his latest music video for “It’s On” featuring DJ Khaled and Ace Hood from his eleventh album Black Panties. Interestingly enough, “Share My Love”, the first single from his twelfth album, Write Me Back, has been released and the video for it premiered last month. Of the many celebrities in support of Obama, business mogul Shawn “Jay-Z” Carter recently sat down with CNN and shared his support of Obama’s announcement and thoughts of whether the president’s announcement will effect his voting:
ON THE BANNING OF SAME-SEX MARRIAGE:
“I’ve always thought it as something that was still holding the country back. What people do in their own homes is their business and you can choose to love whoever you love. That’s their business. [It] is no different than discriminating against blacks. It’s discrimination plain and simple.”
ON WHETHER HE THINKS IT’S GOING TO COST HIM VOTES:
“I think it’s the right thing to do. So whether it cost him votes or not, Again, it’s really not about votes. It’s about people. So whether it cost him votes or not, I think it’s the right thing to do as a human being.”
Diggy Simmons dropped a new music video for his new Unexpected Arrival single, “Two Up.” In the Clifton Bell-directed video features the 17-year-old rapper partying it up in the club, with other teens his age of course. Check him out. Unexpected Arrival is in stores now.
