ABC News reporter Terry Moran caused quite a commotion tonight on Twitter after writing the following:
“Pres. Obama just called Kanye West a “jackass” for his outburst at VMAs when Taylor Swift won. Now THAT’S presidential.” (AUDIO NOW AVAILABLE)
Although Moran quickly removed the tweet, he has over a million followers, and it quickly bounced around Twitter through various users and can still be found here.
An ABC spokesperson explained to Politico what happened:
In the process of reporting on remarks by President Obama that were made during a CNBC interview, ABC News employees prematurely tweeted a portion of those remarks that turned out to be from an off-the-record portion of the interview. This was done before our editorial process had been completed. That was wrong. We apologize to the White House and CNBC and are taking steps to ensure that it will not happen again.
The White House has not commented on the incident, but I’m sure we’ll hear more in the coming days.

After randomly popping up on stage during Jay-Z and Alicia Keys’ closing performance at last night’s VMAs, Lil Mama has issued an apology to them both:
“I did not mean any disrespect towards Jay-Z or Alicia Keys. I admire them and look up to them as role models. ‘Empire State of Mind’ had my emotions running high. In that moment I came up onstage to celebrate my two icons singing about NY.”
We still think she had a sip from Kanye’s Hennessy. Speaking of Mr. West, he has issued another apology to Taylor Swift via his blog:

The singer was a no show at the award show, but you can catch her performing tonight on Jay Leno’s new show (along with Jay and Kanye West) -should be very interesting!

Well it looks like the VMAs spread some craziness into the NYC air Sunday night and early Monday morning. Mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs reportedly got into with a man when he was leaving Lady Gaga’s after party. Reports are coming in that the man was in fact an undercover police officer, but no one can confirm.
Check out the pics and you can tell it got pretty heated before Diddy was pulled away by his bodyguards. CRAZY!!

If you thought the Kanye outburst was the only random VMA moment of the night, you are mistaken. Here are a couple other moments that were hot topics on the Concrete Loop twitter on Sunday night.
Photo: Jay-Z and Alicia Keys close out the award show with a performance of “Empire State of Mind” and randomly rapper/T.V. personality Lil Mama comes on stage and ruins the whole thing. Jay don’t look too happy.
Word is backstage that Jay-Z was furious that she ruined their set and Twitter exploded with disses against Lil Mama and we are pretty sure they are still trending as we speak. She must have taken a swig from Kanye’s Henny bottle.
