If you have a PC, right click your picture. Where it says resize, click on thumbnail. It should come out normal then.

Megan,

Just open the picture in your regular pictures folder. It should say resize, and you lick thumnail (not sure if it exactly says thumbnail, but it’s the smallest you can go). If you do it right, it should duplicate, and the ending of it should read “nameofyoupicture.wince”.

Lemme know if you can do it.

Megan, your picture needs to be width ways rather than length ways .(like Mizzlizz’s) As in the length of it downwards should be shorter than its length > across. Try another picture that fits this criteria and you’ll see.

I usually use an image editor to make my avatars. Resize the image to 80×60 and it will work.
I haven’t tried MizzLizz’s way yet, so tell me if that works too.

@ 24, the chatroom link is located in two spots. One on the left and one at the top.
Also, you should be able to change your avatar if the image isn’t too large. Also make sure the file extension is .jpg or .gif.

@ 26 I didn’t use any books or websites. I’ve been on the net since my early teens so I basically knew what I need to use for the first 3 layouts. This layout was designed by Matt Brett (with some of my help of course).

@ 27 You should be able to change your password. When you login, you will see Hello “your name” in the user panel (next to the CL logo) click on your name and that will send you to the user options page.

Not sure why some people are having problems uploading new avatars. Make sure the image is a .jpg or .gif file and that it isn’t a large file. Also make sure to clear out your cache, because sometimes the picture is loaded but it hasn’t been updated on your computer.

Teddy, for supload I use an extension on Firefox called videodownloader. It works for flash players playing mp3s too though. For the last 2 weeks. everytime I attemp to read an article in more depth ( “clikc here to read more..etc” ) I can never read the full page, as some words always missing from the page? On the Left side of the screen.. the words are not captured fully, so I’m left always trying to piece together what was written or what the article was about?

Do you know if anyone else has been experiencing this problem?? Not sure what to do or how to fix it. I LOVE CONCRETELOOP but lately I have been going to other sites because I cannot read the gossip on this one?? HELP ME

Sometimes my scrollbar will disappear when I open the site, allowing me to only read the first half of the page without being able to scroll down.

Do you know how I can fix this?

My scrollbar keeps disappearing too after about 5 seconds….

What’s been going on with the pages lately?? Right when stuff beggings getting good, my screen blinks and my scrollbar disappers confining me to the top half of the first post. My friends say it has been happening to them also. I didn`t know if yu guys were aware. It`s really been a damper for me. I really look forward to coming here everyday during my time of leisure. But between me refreshing the page every two minutes, x`ing out to start up a new webpage, and these intruding website ads {i do understand they pay the bills} I find it hard to truly enjoy my visits. Nevertheless, if love you guys so I`ll be back day to day to check on the progress. Thanks for reading.

Hi, I posted a comment on little Mya’s graduation post. It states that its awaiting moderation but I can still see it in the lineup here at work, but when I went home to show my daughter its not there.

I read the commenting rules before posting the message so I’m not sure why its awaiting moderation. Not trying to cause a problem just trying to understand…

@ #184, if you have Firefox you can download the ad-on AdBlocker and it’ll block the pop up ads and any side ads from CL.
