Montel Williams, the talk show host that publicly speaks about his marijuana use, is lobbying to legalize the ‘drug’.
“I want you to meet someone who’s not a drug dealer, not a dope addict, just somebody who’s trying to get up every morning and go to work.”
Williams went on to explain how marijuana eases the symptoms of his multiple sclerosis enough to let him function. Registered with programs in California and Canada that permit possession of small amounts of marijuana for medical use, he urged New Jersey to adopt one of its own.
He then went on to say, “I break the law every day. I will continue to break the law every day.” (read more)

MEDIATAKOUT.COM reports that BET’s annoying ass host, Julissa is dating a woman beater.
In an exclusive interview, MediaTakeOut.com spoke to a woman who claims to have been abused by Julissa’s NFL boyfriend. The woman, who is still so frightened of reprisal that she asked us to keep both her name and the NFL player’s name confidential, spoke frankly about the physical abuse.
Last year when she confronted the player with another woman, he reportedly flew into a rage and body slammed her. The woman’s friends convinced her to report the assault to police and the player was arrested. She later changed her mind, claiming she didn’t want to damage the player’s career, and denied the incident to police. The prosecutor subsequently dropped charges against the player. (read more)

The Robin Givens autobiography detailing her abusive marriage to Mike Tyson will be released in January from Miramax. “Grace Will Lead Me Home,” co-written by Lori Giachin, tells of the domestic violence that has been present in her family for three generations.
She describes the first time Tyson punched her. “Delivered coldly, dispassionately” he “easily tossed my 105-pound frame across the room,” she writes, adding that the boxer then sliced her clothing and choked her. (source)

And the ’shut the F up’ award goes to…Miss Jones of HOT 97. Word is she called Mary J. Blige a bitch on her morning show yesterday, because Mary didn’t shout her out at the HOT 97 Summer Jam.
WQHT morning host Miss Jones, who has had some tension with Blige in the past, said she was told that Blige shouted out other Hot-97 deejays on the stage - Angie Martinez, Funkmaster Flex, Mister Cee, Fatman Scoop - and didn’t mention Miss Jones.
Jones added that she didn’t see Blige’s set and said she was told it was great, but she said the shout-out omission was uncalled for. She called Blige a bitch and moved on. (source)
