RUMORS ABOUT THE JAMIE FOXX MUSIC SPECIAL

I got about 5 e-mails with the same rumor, so I decided to post it. The email is as follows:

NBC is not doing any marketing & publicity on Jamie’s Music Special on NBC because he stood his ground and wouldn’t have any white guest as they requested. To make it even worse he had two controversial guest stars, that do not fit the “NBC profile” on his show. Tune in to find out who they are. They are purposely putting his show up against the second week of American Idol in hopes that it will fail. This will give them the excuse to never give another black person a music special because “it doesn’t work”. Let’s show them that it does work, and that we support each other. Tivo Idol, and watch Jamie. I saw the taping, it is a good show. J Foxx making history on NBC. This is the first time NBC has ever aired an entire young urban African American cast on a music special. We need to show support. This was not an easy sell for Jamie and he stood his ground to make it happen the way he saw fit. JAMIE FOXX MUSIC SPECIAL WILL BROADCAST WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 25TH @ 8:00PM PST on NBC.

Come to think about it, I haven’t really seen any publicity for the show, on the real. But I was going to tune in anyway, because I’m a Jamie Foxx fan.

LEBRON JAMES’ MOTHER CHARGED W/DWI

Gloria James, 37, was pulled over last Friday night for almost hitting an unmarked police car. While pulled over, the officers said James smelled of alcohol and she appeared to be disoriented. She struggled with police as they attempted to put handcuffs on her. They put her in the back seat of the housing authority car and SHE KICKED OUT ONE OF THE WINDOWS! USHER’S MAMA IS RUMORED TO DISLIKE TAMEKA

MAMA KNOWS BEST, USHER BETTER RECOGNIZE!!! Tension is mounting amid rumors that Tameka Foster, Usher’s stylist-turned-gal-pal, has management ambitions. “Him dating her is causing a serious family rift,” says an insider. Matriarch Jonetta Patton fired Foster when she was working as Usher’s stylist because “she didn’t think she was dressing him according to the caliber of star he was,” says a source. Patton especially objected to her son being photographed in jeans. A second source said: “People in the industry don’t like Tameka - she has had a lot of problems with designers.” Fashion house Roberto Cavalli had so many issues they refused to deal with her, said two separate sources. The fact that Foster has three children with her still-husband, Ryan Glover, doesn’t help matters. Some unkind souls have also suggested she is older than her stated age of 33 (Usher is 27). TRINA ISN’T GOING TO BE ‘DESPERATE’

I got a few e-mails yesterday; one being from an Elaine Christie (someone from ABC), stating that Trina WILL NOT BE guest starring on Desperate Housewives. She said the rumor started because of photos (that were originally published in “The Source Magazine”) got around the web, and people assumed it was from Desperate Housewives. Thanx for the clear up Elaine. I’m hella disappointed though, I was looking forward to those episodes!!!
