Check out the official presidential portrait of President-elect Barack Obama. It’s the first time the portrait has been taken with a digital camera.
In other Obama news, according to incoming White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs, Obama will allow gays to serve openly in the military by overturning the controversial “don’t ask, don’t tell” policy. The pronouncement came in an exchange with members of the public who sent in questions and were answered on YouTube.
“Thadeus of Lansing, Mich., asks, ‘Is the new administration going to get rid of the “don’t ask, don’t tell policy?’” said Gibbs, looking into the camera. “Thadeus, you don’t hear a politician give a one-word answer much. But it’s, ‘Yes.’”

Beyonce has been selected to sing for the Obama’s first Inaugural dance on this coming Tuesday according to reports released on yesterday:
WASHINGTON (AP) - Beyonce will sing for Barack and Michelle Obama’s first dance on inauguration night.
And the song? “Crazy in Love?” Her version of Etta James’ “At Last?”
The Presidential Inaugural Committee isn’t saying. “It is our hope that we can keep the song secret until the moment,” said spokeswoman Linda Douglass. SOURCE
The singer will be performing along with her husband Jay-Z, Will.i.am, Mariah Carey, Alicia Keys, Shakira, Sting, Mary J. Blige, Stevie Wonder and Maroon 5 at the Inaugural Neighborhood Ball that is scheduled to air live on ABC Tuesday night.
RIHANNA, USHER, & BOW WOW FOR DISNEY’S CONCERT
And speaking of big Inauguration concerts next week, Rihanna, Usher, and Bow Wow are few of many entertainers to perform at Disney’s “Kids’ Inaugural: We Are The Future,” concert. The concert, which will be hosted by Michelle Obama and Dr. Jill Biden (wife of our Vice President elect Joe Biden), will also honor military families.
The event will take place next Monday and air live from Washington, DC on the Disney channel.

Actress Raven-Symoné and self-help author Jessica Weiner visit FOX’s “The Morning Show with Mike and Juliet” at FOX Studios on Thursday in New York City.
Raven is currently working on her 5th studio album and stated that it will be her most mature work to date. As for movies, she has “Further Adventures in Babysitting” coming out next year.

♫ Rihanna - How I Like It (full) - listen
Here’s some new music from Rihanna. Vocally, I’m not really impressed, but I actually am a little intrigued by the melody of the song, it wasn’t what I expected when the song first came on. The hook isn’t really my favorite, but I get more into the verses. Even though Rihanna is supposed to re-rereleasing Good Girl Gone Bad as a remix album, I am more interested in this edgier material that she’s supposed to be recording for the fourth album. She needs to just take it completely pop this time around.

Justin Timberlake is at work at his third solo studio album, the follow-up to the hugely successful and critically acclaimed FutureSex/LoveSounds. I’m glad to see that Justin is working with Timbaland again, because their chemistry is undeniable. Even though “Bigger Than the World” isn’t really the best, I am hopeful that this project will turn out as success. I’m hoping that Justin will work with Pharrell again, considering that they had some amazing material on his debut album, Justified.
