Actress/businesswoman Jada Pinkett-Smith is gracing the cover of REDBOOK Magazine’s August 2011 issue. Inside, the mother of two shares a bit on reality of motherhood, raising a family of superstars and how she’s sacrificed her own dreams to focus on her family:
On putting family first:
“I had to make choices. Believe me, I would still be on the road with my band, Wicked Wisdom, and making as many movies as I can a year, 
and doing all sorts of other things if I didn’t have the responsibility of a family. But I have children with their own talents and dreams, and I know I have to be standing next to them for that journey.”
On giving up on her rockstar dreams:
“It was excruciating, completely excruciating. When Jaden was auditioning for The Pursuit of Happyness, my band had just gotten an offer to open for Guns N’ Roses in Europe. For me, that was unbelievable. But the choice was: I could be a rock star, or I could be on the set with my son to make sure he was healthy and happy. We all know how that story ended!”
On raising her kids in Hollywood:
“Let me tell you what I fear most: Them growing up like I did, in a house with drugs in a war zone, where if I walked out my door I could be shot. Hollywood ain’t nothing compared to that! Growing up in the streets of Baltimore, or the streets of Philly where Will grew up — I’d rather have my kids here. It still makes me nervous that they’re part of something that isn’t totally real, but it’s up to Will and me to teach them what’s real and what’s not.” [Source}

Vita Coco have now released the photos from Rihanna’s new Vito Coco campaign. The pop star is now national spokesperson for their new Summer advertising campaign.
The 23 year-old had this to say about the popular brand:
I love Vita Coco! It’s real coconut water from hand-picked coconuts. It’s delicious and so good for you!
Superstar Madonna who happens to be one of the investors in Vita Coco had this to say about Riri.
Rihanna is a natural fit for the Vita Coco brand and I’m so happy to have her on the team.

MTV is set premiere Beyoncé’s half-hour television special entitled “Beyoncé: Year of 4.” The special is premiering on Thursday, June 30th at 7pm EST and takes viewers on a journey through the artistic process of her latest album, 4.

“Beyoncé: Year of 4″ is the story of Beyoncé’s return as an independent woman navigating her company through the rough waters of the music industry, making a personal album that’s unlike anything she’s ever done. After the much anticipated “I AM…” tour ends, Beyoncé finds herself in dire need of a break. Being a workaholic, and wholly dedicated to her career, she never considered taking a year off, but finally listens to her mother’s advice and disappears from the public’s eye. On her year off, Beyoncé travels the world, spends time with her family and husband, Jay-Z (documented by her with her own camera).
