The critically acclaimed HBO series ‘The Wire’ is back for another great season. I personally believe this is one of the best shows (if not the best) on TV right now. So if you aren’t familar with it, you better catch up! The Season 3 recap is located above.
The fourth season of “The Wire” will expand its focus to include a look at the role of the educational system in an urban environment. Should get a good one. Make sure you check it out on Sunday, September 10th @ 9pm!! Those viewers who have HBO on demand can actually catch the premiere right now.
Also, The Wire Spoken Word Battle is on and they need your help to spread the word. HBO’s original series, THE WIRE and Blastro.com are challenging users to “Tell Us How You Were Educated” in an original spoken word piece. Contestants should visit http://www.blastro.com/spokenwordbattle to fill out an entry form and upload their video. The site hosts a video introduction from Sonja Sohn, member of the slam poetry community and the cast of THE WIRE. 5 finalists will be chosen in September and Blastro users will be able to vote for their favorite – the winning video could end up on HBO On Demand.
