After randomly popping up on stage during Jay-Z and Alicia Keys’ closing performance at last night’s VMAs, Lil Mama has issued an apology to them both:
“I did not mean any disrespect towards Jay-Z or Alicia Keys. I admire them and look up to them as role models. ‘Empire State of Mind’ had my emotions running high. In that moment I came up onstage to celebrate my two icons singing about NY.”
We still think she had a sip from Kanye’s Hennessy. Speaking of Mr. West, he has issued another apology to Taylor Swift via his blog:

Singer/songwriter Alicia Keys and producer Swizz Beatz enjoy an intimate evening at the VIP club in St. Tropez, France on Wednesday night.
