Olympic hopeful Jason Richardson is definitely one to watch in 2012. The 25 year-old who is the current 110M Hurdle World Champion, is putting his bid in for the 2012 Olympics in London.
Jason experienced a breakout season in only his 2nd year as a professional athlete in keeping with his accomplished college and high school career and has since been recognized by 
Sports Illustrated as one of the 30 American Olympic-bound athletes to watch in 2012 (READ MORE).
CL Founder/editor Angel Laws spoke with Jason earlier this month at his private event held at the Waterloo & City Restaurant in Culver City, California and asked him where he got his motivation from. He said, “My family is the supportive force in my life. After getting injured in 2008 and missing out on the Olympics in Beijing, they were there for me. Now that I’m back in fighting and wining shape, the sky is the limit.” We definitely agree!
Jason also spoke about his dream of making the 2012 Olympic team saying, “To make the United States Olympic team would be a dream come true but not easy. I’ve put in years of preparation, lived out of suitcases, laid my head to rest on couches, and even frustratedly pulled out a few dreads all to keep my dream on life support. I wish I could say I’m the perfect genetic athlete but in reality I’m just a stubborn man unwilling to let go of the idea that I can become one of the greatest hurdlers of all time.”
