Anthony David is perhaps best-known for his Grammy-nominated collaboration with India.Arie on “Words”, off his 2008 album Acey Deucy.
He’s back with “God Said”, new music speaking on people hiding their bigotry behind religion and pretending to know things they have no way of knowing, off his upcoming fourth album As Above So Below, which will be released March 22 (pre-order here). The album art below is a modern reworking of da Vinci’s Vitruvian Man.
Marsha Ambrosius stopped by BET’s 106th & Park earlier on Wednesday. The 33 year-old singer/songwriter shared a bit about her journey to her first solo album. She shared her favorite tracks from her Late Nights & Early Mornings and announced that she and singer Melanie Fiona will be joining forces for the 2011 BET Music Matters Tour. The tour starts on March 16th in Dallas, Texas.
The BET’s Music Matters is a campaign that will highlight the next BET superstars through music, bios, music videos, photos and intimate interviews where the artists explain who they are and what music means to them. Singer Anthony David will be a guest performer on the tour. For more info on tour dates and tickets, visit Bet.com/musicmatters.
