Another man by the name of Jamal Parris stepped forward yesterday in regards to the Bishop Eddie Long scandal. According to WSBTV.com:

In the latest lawsuit, the plaintiff, Jamal Parris, detailed how Long allegedly gave him his personal cell phone number two weeks after the two first met. Parris also alleged that Long encouraged him to call him “daddy.” According to the suit, Parris’ father had not been a positive figure in his life.

Parris said he joined New Birth in 2001. He said he later became Long’s personal assistant, and that Long would ask him to remain in his private office after church, where Long engaged in sexual misconduct with Parris, according to the suit. Parris said he eventually left the church and later found out from other young male church members that they too had sexual contact with the bishop, according to the suit. [ SOURCE ]

Not only was a third person added to the suit against Long, but some mobile pictures of the bishop have also been released. As a result, Bishop Long has cancelled his upcoming radio and television appearances.

Earlier this week, Atlanta, Georgia’s Bishop Eddie Long was accused of sexual abuse by two men of his mega-church congregation. According to the lawsuit, two men (Maurice Robinson, 20 and Anthony Flagg, 21) claim that while they were teenagers, Long conducted private spiritual ceremonies and coerced them into sexual acts:

“The pastor took one plaintiff, Anthony Flagg, 21, on overnight trips to a half-dozen American cities in recent years, Flagg’s suit alleges. “Long shared a bedroom and engaged in intimate sexual contact with plaintiff Flagg including kissing, massaging, masturbating of plaintiff Flagg by defendant Long and oral sexual contact,” the suit says.

Long took the other plaintiff, Maurice Murray Robinson, 20, to Auckland, New Zealand, in October 2008 for his 18th birthday and engaged in oral sex with him, Robinson’s suit alleges. “Following the New Zealand Trip, Defendant Long regularly engaged in sexual touching, and other sexual acts with Plaintiff Robinson,” Robinson’s suit alleges.” [ SOURCE ]

The lawyer for Robinson and Flagg, B.J. Bernstein, also claims that she has the photos, texts and e-mails to prove the relationship between her clients and the bishop. Bishop Eddie Long, who is also known for being an advocate against same-sex marriage, adamantly denies the allegations.
