A solid roster of celebrities attended the 21st Annual NAACP Theatre Awards at the Directors Guild of America on Monday evening (August 29) in Hollywood, California. Every year, the multi-cultural awards show celebrates the outstanding achievements and performances of people of color in the theater arts, specifically in sound, set design, costume, lighting, music directing and casting. In preparation for his upcoming film Big Mommas: Like Father Like Son with Martin Lawrence, Brandon T. Jackson premieres the video for the theme song, “Imma Do It Big” with T-Pain. Big Mommas: Like Father Like Son hits theaters next Friday.
Actor/comedian Brandon T. Jackson arrives at Variety’s Power of Comedy event at Club Nokia in Los Angeles on Saturday (December 4). You can see the 26-year-old in next year’s Big Mommas: Like Father, Like Son.
In the film, Brandon plays the son of Malcolm Turner, reprised by Martin Lawrence, who must go undercover with his father at an all-girls performing arts school to find a murderer.

Actor Brandon T. Jackson attended The Hollywood Reporter ‘Next Gen’ Event on Tuesday evening (November 16) at My Studio in Hollywood, California. The comedian was one of the many young men and women under 35 who were honored that evening. The Detroit native recently completed filming for his role as Trent in the upcoming movie, Big Mommas: Like Father, Like Son, the sequel to Big Mommas House. The film is expected to hit theaters in February 2011.
