Music’s biggest night featured a bunch of stars including multiple winner Adele, host LL Cool J, honoree Diana Ross, Rihanna, Katy Perry, Chris Brown and Bruno Mars. It also featured a bunch of dope performances and not so dope performances (*cough* NICKI MINAJ)..
LL Cool J served as the perfect host, starting the show off with a prayer for the late great Whitney Houston. Singer Jennifer Hudson also paid tribute with a performance (VIEW HERE). Singers Alicia Keys and Bonnie Raitt paid tribute to Etta James and there was a short acknowledgment of Don Cornelius by Quest Love. On a more positive note, the legendary Diana Ross received her first Grammy, getting the ‘Lifetime Achievement’ Grammy.
British singer Adele took home top honors during the night including, Album of the Year and Song of the Year. She matched Beyonce’s 2009 record of 6 Grammy wins in one night. Some of music’s biggest names graced the red carpet at the 54th Annual Grammy Awards. Some celebrities kept it classy and sophisticated like Rihanna, Melanie Fiona and Adele, while others went the extra mile and walked in with their best red carpet costume (*cough*…Nicki Minaj…*cough*). Some couples like Alicia Keys & Swizz Beatz and John Legend & his fiance Christine Tiegen posed hand-in-hand for the flashing lights.

Tons of celebrities attended Clive Davis’ Annual Pre-Grammy gala in Los Angeles on Saturday night (February 11). The event had an interesting mix of emotions because of the shocking news of Whitney Houston’s death a few hours prior. And to add to the emotion of this, the singer’s body was still at the Beverly Hills Hilton Hotel – the very place the Gala was being held. Many said it should have been canceled out of respect, but as they say in show business – “The Show Must Go On..”
