Every human being has their vulnerable moments and DMX definitely had a sad one on national TV. Over the last few weeks, he and his former wife, Tashera have been taking part in the VH1 reality show, ‘Couples Therapy,’ in hopes of getting past the pain/difficulty of their estranged marriage.
On this week’s episode, DMX opened up about his abusive childhood and talked about how he never had a positive relationship with his mother. As he talked about how he longed to call his mother ‘mommy,’ a wave of tears fell from the rapper’s eyes. After he cried, he said something so true:
“You know what? I think a lot people lose sight of the fact that no matter how strong you are as a man, no matter how tough you are, we all need to be somebody’s baby.”
