Universal Pictures has released the official trailer for the action-dramedy, Tower Heist. The film follows a group of hard-working maintenance workers who decide to rob a Bernie Madoff-like character after falling victim to his wealthy business scheme of wiping out their pension funds. It just so happens that the schemer is under house arrest in the same high-rise building where they work.
The cast includes Ben Stiler, Eddie Murphy, Casey Affleck, Matthew Broderick, Alan Alda and Gabourey Sidibe. Check out the trailer above. It looks like Eddie Murphy is playing a similar role to that of his previous roles in films like 48 Hours, Trading Places and Beverly Hills Cop.
Tower Heist is hits movie theaters on November 4, 2011.

We might as well name 2011 The Year of The Transgender Outings. Toni Newman, a former transgendered NYC prostitute, has written a dirty-detailed, tell-all book entitled I Rise: The Transformation of Toni Newman. In the book, Newman talks about her days of working the Big Apple streets where she encountered rapper/actor LL Cool J, Eddie Murphy and of course, Hot 97′s DJ Mister Cee:

Up and coming model Bria Murphy along with her famous father actor Eddie Murphy, mother Nicole Murphy and sister Shayne Murphy pose for photos at the Dark and Lovely announcement event at Juliet Supper Club on Tuesday night (January 18) in New York City.
The event was held to announce Bria as the new global brand ambassador for the popular hair care brand. The 20 year-old now covers the Dark & Lovely box and will be featured in upcoming commercial and print advertisements for the brand. Congrats to her!

Actor Eddie Murphy and a few of his kids pictured on the red carpet at the premiere of ‘Imagine that’ at Paramount Studios in Los Angeles on Saturday, June 6th.
The movie stars Murphy as a financial expert in need of help and his daughter (played by Yara Shahidi) is the only one with the info to do it. The family film opens up next week (June 12th).
