Last month we mentioned that singer Rihanna was one of the few considered for the lead role in the remake of the 1992 film, ‘The Bodyguard’. In an interview with OK! Magazine, Rihanna responded to rumor and declined wanting to play Whitney Houston’s former role. The 23 year-old made it clear that she has no desire in playing the main character, which to her wouldn’t be a challenging enough task:

“Absolutely not. I want to separate the two. I hate it when singers do singing movies all the time because you can never look at them as anybody else… I want to play a character… My whole life is playing Rihanna. Being a singer [in a film] won’t be a stretch for me. I like challenges and being an actor is playing a role, being able to step into somebody else’s shoes, that’s the excitement.” [ Source ]

On Sunday evening, VH1 aired a new episode of their reality television show, Basketball Wives. In the shows second season finale, Evelyn Lozada and cast member Tami Roman get into it after Evelyn discloses her affair with Roman’s former husband. As Roman tried to get her point across about her actions being foul, Evenlyn remarked that Roman was irrelevant and non-existent at the time. Once those words fell out of Evelyn’s mouth, the bows started swinging.

Now just days after the airing of the episode, rumors are going around that Lozada is looking to quit the show and not return for another season, following her explosive fight with another cast member:

Sources close to the reality star tell us…Evelyn feels producers violated her trust by allegedly divulging sensitive information about an illicit relationship she had in the past. Evelyn believes producers leaked the information to a female cast member in an effort to incite a violent confrontation between the two women on the show. We’re told Evelyn feels completely betrayed and even fired off an email to producers last night … saying she wants to leave the show for good. [Source]
