Oh baby! Fantasia Barrino and her boyfriend Antwan Cook finally welcomed a healthy baby boy to their family on Monday (December 12) after news hit the web about the former American Idol winner going into labor. According to RadarOnline, Barrino checked into the Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte, North Carolina that morning.
According to PEOPLE.COM, the baby’s name is Dallas Xavier Barrino and clocked in at at 7 lbs., 9 oz. She also released a statement saying:
“I feel so blessed that my son Dallas Xavier was born healthy, and is a wonderful new addition to our family,” Barrino, 27, tells PEOPLE. “I thank all my fans for their well wishes and continued support.”

“Fantasia is really taking every opportunity she can to stick it to Antwaun’s ex,” a source close to the situation told RadarOnline.com. “She’s planning her baby shower for October 1, which is Antwaun’s wedding anniversary with Paula.
