The Los Angeles premiere of Tyler Perry’s upcoming film, Good Deeds, went down on Valentine’s Day evening (Februrary 14). The private screening event was held at the Regal Cinemas L.A. Live and had celebrity appearances made by cast members and supporters including Thandie Newton, Michael Jai White, Sharon Leal, Gabrielle Union, Barry Bonds and others.
In a brief red carpet interview Reuters.com, the screenwriter/actor shared that his only desire is to make people happy with his new film: “What’s important to me is that I tell a story that people want to see, that inspires them and that encourages them.”
