Tyler Perry stopped by the Lopez Tonight Show last week. The actor/director talked about being in show business, shared stories about his interaction with singer Prince as well as his love/obsession with Diana Ross:
I got a crush on an older lady, Diana Ross. I’ve been trying to get her to do a film of mine for a very long time. She wont return my phone calls. I can get the President of the United States to call me back, but she will not. I don’t know what it is. She’s Diana Ross though. What can I say…[...] I dunno, but I’m gonna stop because I’ve been stalking her for a while. She’s might have my ass arrested in a minute.
Over the Easter weekend, Perry’s newest film Madea’s Big Happy Family grossed $25.7 million and came second to Rio, which grossed $26.8 million. Kudos to him!
Koby Bryant was honored over the weekend during this year’s NBA All-Star Weekend.
