CONCERT/EVENT: GOAPELE PERFORMS AT ‘BREAK OF DAWN’ ALBUM RELEASE SHOW

In celebration of the release of her fourth studio album, Break of Dawn ( PURCHASE HERE ), singer-songwriter Goapele hosted a live listening party/concert at New York City’s B.B. King Blues Club & Grill earlier this week. The Bay area-native performed some of her newest songs from the album like “Play” and “Money“. She also treated the audience to throwback performances of “First Love”, “Romantic” and Sam Cooke’s “A Change Is Gonna Come”.

MUSIC VIDEO: GOAPELE – “PLAY”

Oakland’s own Goapele premieres the video for her new single, “Play”, from her latest album, Break of Dawn.

Goapele says of the album: “One of my goals for Break of Dawn was to be more uninhabited. I came into this business as a young woman who wanted to lay a foundation of musical integrity and now I’m more willing to share my sensuality as well. I realize that it’s possible to be both complex and provocative.” Break of Dawn is set to be released Oct. 24.

Goapele is back and ready to “play”! Ahead of the forthcoming release of her third album, Break of Dawn, she releases her new sexy, electro-soul single, “Play”, which was produced by Dan Electric & Teddy Thunderbolt. Break of Dawn is slated for release October 25.
