Singer/songwriter Kalenna is ready to set things off with her brand new mixtape, Chamber of Diaries. The mixtape is a collection of original material, the first we’ve heard of the girl who, just last year, was 1/3 of the group Dirty Money.
Kalenna is presently working on her debut album, and is known for being quite relentless in the studio, so it’s no telling how long she’s had these tracks in her catalog. Be on the look out for more visuals as she approaches the release of her solo album.
Towards the end of the year in 2011, 1/3 of Dirty Money, Kalenna Harper took her solo spotlight with a new track and viral video entitled, “Go To Work” (CLICK HERE), and she’s back with more hard-hitting material on “Black Matte Truck.”
The new track will be featured on Kalenna’s first digital album, Chamber of Diaries, with features from Wayne Wonder, Crystal Nicole, Maino, Rodney Jerkins, French Montana and more. You can expect to hear more from Kalenna with the release this February.
Just after a tour with the group Dirty Money, Kalenna is ready to stake her own claim as a solo artist. Stepping forward from her counterparts, Diddy and Dawn Richard, Kalenna gives a taste of what’s to come on her debut solo album, with her first club single, “Go To Work,” produced FirstBorn.
Kalenna chose today, 11/11/11 to give the world the first peek of her as a solo artist. The viral clip, directed by RebelStar Media, is an edgy, in-your-face visual that showcases her signature sound, as well as her unique style. Kalenna plans on releasing a street album and then her solo debut at the top of next year.
Singer/songwriter Kalenna (aka Kalenna Harper) celebrated her birthday at Queensberry Club in London, England. She was also in town with a new blonde hairstyle, promoting her solo career.
