One-half of the hip-hop duo Outkast was arrested over the weekend for drug possession. During his vacation week, rapper Big Boi was held behind bars after alledgedly having ecstacy, viagra and drug paraphernalia on board the cruise ship:
According to the Miami-Dade County Corrections Department, Mr. Boi (real name Antwan Patton) was charged with three counts of possession of a controlled substance and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia. The controlled substances were listed as ecstasy pills, MDMA powder and Viagra. [...] All charges are felonies. Law enforcement sources tell us he was busted by customs and border patrol dogs as he was exiting a cruise ship. We’re told Big Boi didn’t have a prescription for the Viagra.
He was booked into jail at 1:35 PM ET. He was held on $16,000 bond, but was released this [Sunday] afternoon. [Source]
Since his bail, Big Boi’s lawyer, Daniel Kane issued the following statement:
“A small amount of contraband was found in the collective luggage.” He adds, “I am confident when the entire facts are aired Big Boi will be completely exonerated.”
KATT WILLIAMS BOOED & ESCORTED OUT OF OWN STANDUP SHOW
Over the other side of the country, comedian Katt Williams was getting kicked out of his own comedy show after taking a more aggressive approach to his usual comedy routine:
Katt Williams got so belligerent toward the crowd at his own comedy show last night, the club had to kick him out — and then called the cops on him when he tried to get back in!
Katt was scheduled to perform two shows at the Improv in Ontario, CA last night — but according to our witnesses, Katt got tossed from the 8:00 PM show and the 9:30 PM show was cancelled. [Source]
