Just when you thought the buzz around the Houston family had died down, it starts back up again. According to reports, Bobbi Kristina, Pat and Gary Houston and Whitney’s mother Cissy have just signed up for docu-reality series about their lives, following the passing of the iconic singer, Whitney Houston:
Three months after Whitney Houston’s sudden death, her family has signed on to do a reality series. Lifetime has picked up The Houston Family Chronicles, a 10-episode docu-series to premiere later this year. It will follow the lives of Pat Houston, Whitney’s sister-in-law and manager, who now manages her estate; Pat’s daughter Rayah; Whitney’s brother Gary; daughter Bobbi Kristina; and mother, Grammy-winning singer Cissy Houston, as they try to pick up the pieces after the pop star’s untimely death. Apparently Pat Houston has had the idea of an unscripted show based on the family for a few years now and had been working on developing it. According to her, “the unexpected passing of Whitney certainly affects the direction of the show. However, it is my hope that others will be enlightened as they watch our family heal and move forward.” Continue
Michelle Obama is arguably the most stylish First Lady the White House has seen since Jackie Kennedy, and as such she’s made many a best dressed list. She’s no stranger to putting together a fabulous, but I have to say this is hands down my favorite Michelle Obama look we’ve seen so far.
At the 2012 White House Correspondents’ Dinner, Mrs. O had everything perfectly styled. Her hair, makeup, and gorgeous Naeem Khan Fall 2011 gown come together to create quite the fetching look.
Kerry Washington is a celeb who’s considered one of Hollywood’s fashion elite. She’s known for her impeccable sense of style and for bringing an air of sophistication to any outfit she dons, sophistication that definitely wasn’t lacking in her Correspondents’ Dinner look.
Kerry opted to go minimal, yet timeless in a coral Calvin Klein long-sleeved dress, soft makeup, and a simple ponytail to complete her look. She accessorized with Dean Harris earrings, and a Roger Vivier snakeskin clutch.

President Barack Obama poked fun at himself, Republican opponents, the Secret Service and more during the 98th annual White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner held on Sat., April 28, at the Washington Hilton.
He noted that he and presumed Republican nominee Mitt Romney both have degrees from Harvard, but Mr. Romney has two. The President joked, “What a snob.” He also revealed the “secret agenda” expected from his second term in office: “In my first term, I sang Al Green. In my second term, I’m going with Young Jeezy,” adding “Michelle said, ‘Yeeeeah.’ I sing that to her sometimes.” View full speeches and photos of celebrities in attendance below.
