Guess Kobe Bryant is really not trying to pay up this $100,000. During an NBA game last week against the San Antonio Spurs, Bryant threw a fit and outburst, ‘F**king fa**ot!’ on national television and was slapped the hefty fine (VIEW HERE). Most of all, Kobe has been trying to make amends with the gay community since his outburst. In his latest interview with ESPN Radio, the Los Angeles Lakers star tried yet again to save face:
“I used to beat up a lot of kids even in high school who used to tease my friends because they were gay, or because they were black, or because they were Jewish, or because they were yellow, or because they were whatever. [...] For people who don’t think my apology is sincere, they don’t know me. This isn’t over for me. I really plan to do more. What I said was ignorant and I really didn’t realize what I was saying.” [Source]

Koby Bryant was honored over the weekend during this year’s NBA All-Star Weekend. The 32 year-old shooting guard is the first athlete to have a hand and footprint ceremony at the Grauman’s Chinese Theater. Bryant was joined by his family and friends to celebrate the occasion, including his coach Phil Jackson, comedic late-night television hosts George Lopez and Jimmy Kimmel.

NBA player Kobe Bryant with his wife Vanessa Bryant pictured arriving at the 17th annual ESPY Awards held at Nokia Theatre LA Live on Wednesday, July 15th in Los Angeles, California. Kobe accepted the Best Team award on behalf of the Los Angeles Lakers during the event.
Kobe met Vanessa back in ’99, while she was working as a background dancer on the Tha Eastsidaz music video “G’d Up”. They married two years later and have two daughters together – Natalia (6) and Gianna (3). Vanessa is best known for sticking by her man after his very public sexual assault case in ’03.

After doing some shopping on Melrose Monday afternoon, Jay-Z hit up the Lakers vs. Rockets game with fellow mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs on Monday night. The duo was spotted having a fun on the sidelines and Jay-Z even chilled with his nephew for most of the game. Cute.
Diddy and Jay-Z were also spotted outside the Katsuya restaurant for a late dinner after the Lakers upset. Peep the pics.
