After a brief hiatus the VH1 Divas concert series was back in full effect and this time they were celebrating Soul. Some of the industry’s most soulful ladies came out to represent, and of course they pulled out all the style stops. The two ladies who brought it the hardest, though? Definitely Mary J. Mary started the night off in Michael Kors, wearing a cream look from the designer’s Fall 2011 collection. Her jersey gown perfectly matched her fur coat, a look that was classic Mary.
She kept up the neutral theme, opening the show along with Kelly Clarkson and Jennifer Hudson wearing a long sleeved white gown that featured a figure hugging bodice.
Switching it up again for her next performance, Mary rocked black on black on black Alexander McQueen, wearing a fur trimmed leather jacket and leather pants from the British label’s Fall 2011 collection.
Keeping things fun, Mary’s fourth look was a red strapless sequined dress paired with red Yves Saint Laurent ‘Tribtoo’ platform heels.

The ladies of SWV are back together again after 15 years. Cheryl Gamble, Tamara Johnson and Leanne Lyons released the cover to their single, “Co-Sign” off of their upcoming untitled album. The track will be dropping some time next month, under their new deal with Mass Appeal Entertainment and E1 Entertainment.
