Former Pussy Cat Doll Melody Thornton brings you her rendition of La Roux’s 2009 hit song, “BulletProof”. She teamed up with up and coming singer/songwriter Bobby Newberry on the track. The scenic black-and-white clip, was directed by Don Tyler. Check out what Melody exclusively told, Rap-Up:
First and foremost, I would like to give my utmost respect to La Roux for writing such an incredible song,”said Melody. “It spoke to Bobby and myself so much that we initially wanted to cover it for fun. I just hope it empowers others the way it has empowered us, the feeling was so great we were inspired to make a video for it.
Former Pussycat Doll Melody Thornton is finally on her way to releasing solo a solo album.
Since splitting from the Dolls, Melody has been working on solo material in Los Angeles, California with the likes of Polow Da Don, Cee-Lo Green, Dre & Vidal and more for a slightly retro sound. Check out her first single, “Sweet Vendetta,” that was just made available on iTunes this weekend.
Guess who was spotted leaving dinner with her sister on Monday night in Cali? Hint: She recently came back from Australia after touring with Britney Spears
For this edition of ‘Who Rock’d It Better’ we have singers Beyonce and Melody Thornton wearing the same Sass & Bide Higher Ground dress during recent events.
Beyonce rock’t the black version of the dress when she accepted her awards at the ’09 MTV Europe Music Awards earlier this month and Melody rock’d the white version when she attended the ’09 American Music Awards on Sunday night. Take your pick.
