2012 may turn out to be a pretty good year for concert/festival goers and fans of Beyonce, rap duo Kanye West and Jay-Z and songbirds Brandy and Monica.
To kick things off, word on the street is that Beyonce may be a headline act for this year’s Lollapalooza festival in Chicago, Illinois. According to an anonymous insider’s Lollapalooza twitter account, @LollaLeaks, Beyonce has been included in the major line-up alongside artists like Metallica and Red Hot Chili Peppers.

After wrapping up her music video shoot with Brandy, Monica headed to Hartford, Connecticut to perform at the Hot 97.3 ‘Love & Laughter’ Valentine’s Day show. The R&B singer gave an emotional tribute to Whitney Houston and sang “You Give Good Love.”
Tons of celebrities attended Clive Davis’ Annual Pre-Grammy gala in Los Angeles on Saturday night (February 11). The event had an interesting mix of emotions because of the shocking news of Whitney Houston’s death a few hours prior. And to add to the emotion of this, the singer’s body was still at the Beverly Hills Hilton Hotel – the very place the Gala was being held. Many said it should have been canceled out of respect, but as they say in show business – “The Show Must Go On..”

Brandy and Monica rejoin forces nearly 14 years after their 1998 hit single, “The Boy Is Mine,” with their new track, “It All Belongs to Me,” produced by Rico Love.
The track is slated to appear on Monica’s new album, New Life, slated to hit stores this April, as well as on Brandy’s album, supposedly due out in May.
