Jive Recording Artist K. Michelle dropped two new videos recently. Above is the visuals for “Just Ain’t My Day” directed by Walid Azami and below you can check out “How Many Times” directed by Benny Boom. The 25 year-old is gearing up for the release of her debut album, Pain Medicine, slated to hit stores & online later this year.
It’s been 16 years since award winning, R&B veteran Johnny Gill released a solo album. Check out his new single, “In The Mood” the first track from his forthcoming album, Still Winning on Notifi Records.
“In The Mood” was written by Gill, Ralph Stacey and Dave Young who has composed hits for Faith Evans, Toni Braxton and Mary J. Blige,
“It’s a blessing to be able to record again after 16 years and I’m excited for my fans to enjoy the new music,” stated Gill.
The new album is set to be released this fall featuring production by Grammy Award Winning Producers Troy Taylor, Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, Bryan Michael Cox and Wyclef Jean.
Brooklyn producer duo CREEP have released the video for their new single, “You”. The song/video feature vocals from twins/singing duo Nina Sky and was directed by Thalia Mavros (Creators Project).
In related news, Nina Sky independently released an 8 track EP for digital download in August of 2010 and are reportedly working on another EP as we speak.
Singer/performer Nicole Scherzinger performed at Radio 1′s Big Weekend 2011 at Carlisle Airport this past weekend in England. The former ‘Pussy Cat Doll’ performed a few songs for the crowd including, ‘Don’t Cha’.
In related news, Nicole is expected to drop her debut album, Killer Love, on August 16 after releasing it internationally on March 18th. According to reports, five new songs were recorded for the US edition of the album.
