Nicki Minaj sat down with ABC’s ‘Nightline’ and talked about how she sees herself as an artist, pointed out her real reason for becoming a rapper and how she didn’t come in to the game to be a role model for young girls. The animated artists also talked about her childhood, her multiple personalities and shared her real thoughts on the Lady Gaga comparisons:

Just days after releasing her second studio album, ‘Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded,’ Nicki Minaj gave a free show in the streets of New York City (April 6). The Queens-native took to the stage in Times Square in celebration of Nokia’s newest smartphone, the Lumia 900.
The “Superbass” rapper/singer performed a few songs from her new album including “Right By My Side” and “Starships.” Shortly after taking the stage, Minaj walked the red carpet and posed with the new cellphone in hand.
