Actress and former model Nicole Ari Parker made DENIM magazine’s December 2011 cover. In the “Holiday Issue”, the 41-year-old mother of two shared a little story about the very first time she met her husband, Boris Kodjoe and how she knew he was the one:

When Boris walked into our first rehearsal i thought of him as the really hot guy that got to play my boyfriend in the first couple of episodes. But for some reason we connected and found it easy to talk to each other and laugh and be comfortable…and then i married him. Vanessa called it from the beginning, just like a real sister would, “you know he’s feeing you right?’ instigating..”nuh-uh” I said. “Yuh-huh, watch.. that’s your man right there.” and the rest is history.”

Actress Nicole Ari Parker and husband actor/model Boris Kodjoe were coupled up at the Pan African Film Festival opening night with the screening premiere of “35 and Ticking”, in Los Angeles on Wednesday night.
The duo have been married for 5 years and have a daughter and son together.
