Check out the latest sounds from Rich Harrison’s group, RichGirl, in the form of their new track, “Smile & Wave,” which features none other than R&B crooner, Chris Brown. The collaboration most likely came about because the two share the same label and manager.
Admittedly, I wasn’t a fan of their first single, “He Ain’t With Me Now (Tho),” even though it does do a better job of showing off the girls’ vocal range, however, I think “Smile & Wave” is a little more suited for a radio single. But will this help or hurt the girls due to Chris’s career slump?
Since releasing their video “He Ain’t Wit Me Now (Tho)” about three weeks ago, Rich Harrison’s girl group, Richgirl (SEVEN, LYNDRIETTE, AUDRA, & BRAVE) has been making some waves in the music scene. Word is, the group will be opening up for Beyonce on the North American leg of the “I Am” Tour. Bandmember Audra has confirmed via Twitter:
Okay…I just confirmed GREAT news!!!!!! RICHGIRL is officially opening up for BEYONCE!!!!!!!!!! AHHHHHHH! GOD is sooooo good!
The tour will kick off on in New York City on June 21st at Madison Square Garden. For now you can check them performing during the ‘BK FamFest national tour’ (click here for dates/info). Also keep reading to view video of them singing “Somewhere Over The Rainbow” live.
After posting their new video “He Ain’t Wit Me Now (Tho)” earlier this week, a lot of people have been wondering who these Richgirl chicks really are. Keep reading for more info:
LYNDRIETTE The Southern Belle of the group, she was raised in North Carolina. She possesses exhilarating vocals that make her a singing powerhouse. She has a playful spirit and warmth that comes from her small town upbringing. At the same time she has a focus and hunger that will take her and Richgirl around the world.
SEVEN Raised in Haines City, Florida, Seven will automatically be known for her dynamic vocals which she acquired from growing up singing in the church. She is the all-American girl, who happens to have a voice that can not be ignored.
Rich Harrison, known for his hit records “Crazy in Love” Beyonce, “Soldier“ Destiny Child,” “One Thing” Amerie, & many more presents his new four-member girl group: Richgirl (Brave, Seven, Lyndriette, and Audra).
