TV personality/producer Shaunie O’Neal celebrated her 37th birthday at Philippe Miami restaurant on Ocean Drive in the sunshine state of Florida. The birthday girl invited close friends, family and her fellow Basketball Wives castmates (Jennifer Williams, Tami Roman, Evelyn Lozada, Suzie Ketchman and newbie, Kenya Bell) to her Ciroc-presented celebration over the weekend (December 9).
Guests enjoyed a menu of filet mignon, beijing chicken and spicy prawns, as well as Ciroc cocktails named in honor of Shaunie. At the end of the evening, Shaunie was presented with a Ciroc Coconut-infused cake in the shape of the Louis Vuitton Neverfull bag. Must be nice…
It feels like all of black hollywood was at the movie premiere for Kevin Hart’s new stand-up comedy film Laugh at My Pain. The star-studded event was held at the Pacific Design Center in Los Angeles, California. Who stopped through to show Kevin Hart some support, you ask? Oh, just Gabriel Union, Michael Ealy, Meagan Good, LisaRaye, Marlon Wayans, Eva Marcille, Eddie Murphy, Shaunie O’ Neal, Tichina Arnold, Tamar Braxton-Herbert and Vincent Herbert, Tami Roman, Tisha Campbell, Wiz Khalifa and Amber Rose! Kevin Hart’s Laugh at My Pain hits 100 AMC Theatres on Friday, September 9th. In the film, fans can catch original, never-before-seen Raw and Uncut backstage footage, and travel back to Philly with Kevin Hart where he began his journey to become one of the funniest comedians of all time. Congrats to Kevin!
If you watched the reunion episode of Vh1′s Basketball Wives, you noticed that Shaunie O’Neal didn’t have much of anything to say. But this morning, the reality show’s executive stopped by Chicago’s Power 92 to discuss the show, Jennifer and her ex-husband’s drink tossing situation as well as whether Meeka Claxton is coming back to Basketball Wives:
“She’s pretty done. I think paperwork-wise, it’s not official yet, but it will be soon. I mean it just didn’t work. It didn’t work in any aspect with anybody. It makes no sense for her to come back. I hear she wants to come back but it just doesn’t make any sense.”
Shaunie later added that Royce may or may not be returning to the show. You can listen to the entire interview below. Part II of the Basketball Wives reunion episode will air next week, Monday, August 22nd at 8pm EST on Vh1.
