The multi-faceted Tasha Smith is the cover model for BE Entertained Magazine’s 2011 Winter Print Issue. In the issue, the actress discusses her married life, her new show ‘For Better or Worse” and also drops what blogs she checks out on the regular.

TV BIT: TASHA SMITH TALKS ABOUT HER EXOTIC PAST ON WENDY

Comedian Tasha Smith (star of the upcoming ‘For Better of For Worse’ TBS series) rolled through The Wendy Wiliams Show on Monday (November 21). The actress talked about her upcoming marriage anniversary, being lactose intolerant with her husband and shared her past stint as a stripper, while trying to make it to her real passion: comedy.

On deciding to reveal her past job title:
This is what I always. I say you tell your business before somebody else can try and tell your business. Because you know people will do that Wendy, if they one little thing about you, they’ll try to put your stuff on front street. But thank God I am not ashamed of my past. PREVIEW TYLER PERRY’S NEW SERIES, ‘FOR BETTER OR WORSE’ (TASHA SMITH & MICHAEL JAI WHITE)

Tyler Perry’s latest television series features two of his most popular film characters, Marcus and Angela, from his Why Did I Get Married? film. Tasha Smith and Michael Jai White reprise their roles as the married couple and bring all their drama and dysfunction to the small screen. While TBS has ordered ten episodes of the show, if it launches successfully that order will hit 100. For Better or Worse is set to premiere November 23.

TV NEWS: MICHAEL JAI WHITE & TASHA SMITH TO STAR IN NEW TYLER PERRY SERIES / TRACEE ELLIS ROSS & MALCOLM JAMAL WARNER TO STAR IN NEW BET SERIES

Tyler Perry is adding another series to his TBS belt with ‘For Better or Worse‘. The show will follow the ups-and-downs of married life for Marcus and Angela, two characters who originated in the feature films ‘Why Did I Get Married‘ and ‘Why Did I Get Married Too?‘

Actor Michael Jai White and actress Tasha Smith are set to reprise the roles of television anchor Marcus and salon owner Angela. Additional cast members will be announced in the upcoming months and the show is set to start taping on Tyler Perry studios in ATL this Summer.

TRACEE ELLIS ROSS + MALCOLM JAMAL WARNER TO STAR IN NEW BET SERIES

Tracee Ellis Ross, who starred in the former CW comedy “Girlfriends,” will star in a new comedy for BET that will increase the network’s move into original scripted programming.

The new comedy, “Reed Between the Lines,” will feature Ross as a psychologist adept in her job but more frazzled when dealing with her family. Malcolm-Jamal Warner will costar as her husband, an English teacher.

The series, scheduled to air in October, will join “The Game” and “Let’s Stay Together,” the popular comedies which have both been renewed.
